I am trying to install a block heater on an m9000 farm tractor. in the directions it says to find a threaded plug near front of engine. the picture shows it as the first soft plug, right behind water pump on left side of engine. my tractor does not have the threaded plug, just a regular freeze plug. i already bought the factory heater to install but can't find the right place. any help would be appreciated.

What exact model do you have?
As the M9000 had many changes over the years and models. ;)

Rear right side, might be hiding behind the injection pump or the govener.
