So I changed the instrument panel on my M7040 and getting “ECU” and “ENG” flashing code. The service manual talks about “enter the model code” can someone help me out on this or is this a dealer situation?

The subject-line (topic) of this thread is not very helpful. It implies only the model 7040… and that the 7040 must be a complete POS… instead of a simple “Instrument-cluster-reprogamming” issue which might apply to a lot of different models.
