M7040 year?

Hello,
I have an M7040DTM and I am trying to figure out what year it was made. Can I tell by the serial number or engine number?

No the serial number or engine number will not tell you the year.
Kubota's tractor year is based on when it sold and not when it was made.

You can go to a dealer armed with the serial number and they can tell you when it was sold, and that becomes it's year.
