My m7040 won't lift the 3pt arms. I've checked linkages, fluid levels and the valve adjustment under the seat. Everything appears to be fine but I have no lift on the 3pt. I've played with rpm and the loader and nothing makes a difference.
Any input is appreciated. thanks

Can the 3 PH be physically lifted? There is no down pressure so it should be able to be done. Just grab an arm and lift upwards.

What sound(s) does the pump make when the lift lever is pulled back? Or is there no sound at all?

Is this something new? What recent maintenance has been done? Has the FEL been removed and replaced? Or just removed? If removed, have the hoses been hooked back up?

Do other hydraulic functions work normally?

This information would help to formulate a knowledgeable reply.

Yes you can manually lift the 3pt. There is no audible noise when engaging the 3pt to lift. I also do not have pressure to the rear remote. Loader functions as it should.
thanks

There hasn't been any recent maintenance either.

Remember that the hydraulic flow from the main pump is first to the loader valve and then through a power beyond port to the 3 pt and rear remotes.
If you have checked for disconnected linkages for the 3pt and there is nothing connected to a rear remote then check the loader valve carefully. Also be certain the rear remote valve(s) is in the neutral position.

Hmmm...very true. I hadn't thought of that angle.

To the OP: Also check that the three rear remote levers forward of the 3PH / draft levers all all in the most forward position. Maybe that is part of what Dave is stating.

I would think that the pump would make its unique "relief sound" if the pump were being bypassed.

This was one of Kubota's most popular models and there are many model variations and they span many years, and the systems changed over the years.

Please give the exact model.
