Hard to believe the rubber boot was $40.51 and the 2 spring clips are $12 each. 1 clip actually had a broken circular tab on it. I put plumbers silicone grease on the boot to help it slide over the metal diameter housing. The old boot was dry and cracked but no real thru holes. I cut a rubber cap that I put on top of it with a larger diameter to shed water.
Tractor is now sitting outside waiting for 10F again that should be on Sunday/Monday am cold snap.
All the hydraulics - steering, shuttle shift, pto and loader are working at 28F today.
Appreciate the help. Only thing I don't understand is why the front remote is reading 6-700 psi. But I'll deal with that when I hook up the wood splitter to the front again and see how it operates.
For now if I can plow snow for the winter would be great.
