I was mowing around some trees this weekend and didn't see a low hanging broken off branch until it was too late. It punctured my roof and completely destroyed everything. However no glass was broken on the cab and fortunately I was unhurt. I removed what was left of the roof.

Kubota no longer offers a complete roof unit for this early 2000's model M6800. I want to put a top on the tractor and add a rooftop AC unit. Does anyone have experience in this that can offer guidance? I was thinking about a 3/4" piece of plywood for the roof. I don't know if there is a rooftop ac that would work.?

Thanks for any help.

probably not. I expect it would draw a lot more power and need a bigger wire and fuse to power the ac. That would all be in the instructions.

An electrically powered AC will draw substantial current, far more than your tractor's alternator can put out.

Firefight100's eBay example says 300-800 watts power consumption which is around 60 amps at the upper end.
