How do I remove the front drive shaft. I have ruptured my oil pan and am stuck in the woods. I can't see an easy way to remove the front drive shaft. Can I drop the forward mounts and maybe slide out? Thanks.

Depending on how badly your oil pan is ruptured would it be possible to do a temporary patch on the oil pan just so you could get the tractor out of the woods, maybe weld/braze a small patch on it or use some self tapping sheet metal screws and screw a small patch of sheet metal with gasket sealer on it just enough that it holds oil to get it out so that you can repair it correctly
