My M5700 seems to ride rough compared to my M6800. The only difference is the M5700 has a cab. I’ve checked the air pressure and the tire fluid and they are both identical. The seats are different but I think they are standard stock. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What is your tire pressure? Even though they are the same it could be way too much.

Isn't the M6800 about 1,000 - 1,500 lbs. heavier even without the cab?
Not sure if that would matter.

Can only be a couple things on a machine without struts/spring suspension:

things actually providing suspension of the chassis would be:
1. Seat - (well this isnt chassis, but it could provide different levels of cushion to operator)
2. Tires (size, compound, stiffness)
3. Terrain (comparing same ground and same level of softness / hardness?)
4. Implements off front or rear and or weights could impact it too.

I’m out of guesses. (Could it be new is just stiffer frame?)

if you want to bring it by I am happy to demo for you while on different types of ground and implements and give a full report…might take a while. I can provide you with a loaner during the testing that I feel confident will make you appreciate your M 😉

According to specs on Tractor, wheelbase is about 2” different and there’s about 500lbs difference in weight. While that may seem small, those things can make a huge difference in the ride. Also, even though the tire size is the same, if the ply rating is different, or brands are different, those factors can effect ride quality.

Thanks, I'll check that
