I was finishing up some bushhogging this afternoon when the hydraulics just up and died on me out of no where. Bucket, steering, and 3point all dead. No leaks anywhere. I'm guessing this is a fuse or some relay that came loose. Any ideas about where to start? We just had the hydro system cleaned and replaced all the fluid and filters maybe 30-50 hours ago.

I wouldn't have thought they would be electrically controlled, but I don't know your tractor. First guess would be a failed pump or pump drive, don't forget to check your oil level just in case.

M5400 isn't electrically controlled, check oil level, check inlet pipes going to pump, particularly rubber connector pipes. If all good, I expect a stripped drive, or broken pump shaft.

I'll second what 100 td said:
Either it very low on fluid and cavitated the pump, or more likely it has broke something in the pump drive.

Ditto what they said.

If everything looks good on the pump driveline, I've read on here somewhere about the splines rusting or just wearing out. I believe it was on the end of the pump itself.

My first thought, when you said that you just finished bush hogging, was you could have jambed I stick through a filter and drained all the oil, but then I re-read your post that there was no leaks.

Good luck

Welcome to OTT
How long since hyd filters were changed?????????? If hyd oil level is on full then my next guess is pressure relief valve has failed or debris isn't allowing it to seat.
