Hi, recently purchased a used M5111 and upgrading the work lights to LED. I noticed there are two extra connections beside the front inidicator lights, parts diagram seem to suggest these are extra work light connections, but no power on them when I turn on any light a switch. Any idea where they are connected? Do I need to add a switch for them?

Congrats on the tractor and welcome aboard!

You could check to see if the extra wires have been taped over with the wires that feed the amber lights. My L4240 didn't have rear work lights from the factory. There were wires with a plug on them that were hidden under black tape near the rear "lollipop" amber lights. The plug wasn't something I could easily find so I simply spliced them onto the work light tails.

For the switch, there was a plug behind one of the blanks on the little overhead switch group in the cab roof.

Looking at the diagram it seems the wires go back to the fuse block. Is there an empty slot in the existing fuse block? Maybe they didn't put a fuse in because nothing was hooked to that circuit.

Get long leads for your multimeter and check continuity between the plug end and the fuse block.
