Looking for tips on mouse exclusion, I’ve had the floor taken apart and stuffed steel wool in all of the holes I found. Stuffed all of the control cable and control Rod boots I found. Most everything that I found was on right side of cab. Right rear there’s a rectangular hole that looks like air inlet or air escape for slamming door. I put hardware cloth in there.

Do I need to take the dash apart? Where else are there penetrations?

thanks,
Scott

I put in rat poison cubes when possible (in spots only the mice can get to, no doggies) , more attractive than soy wires. I also put camphor cubes in mesh bags (lasts about 2 years) in areas that will be dry but potentially cozy for a nest.

I use Grandpa Gus's Mouse Repellent Pouches which you can get from Amazon or a farm supply store. So far, we have had good luck and no mouse issues.

Inside the barn, we put out mouse bait traps (we use Kaput poison, less toxic for any wildlife or the barn cats if they get a mouse that has eaten it).

You need to get rid of the critters. Even if you keep them out of the cab, they may nest or eat wiring in the engine compartment.
