Hey guys,
I have a 2001 kubota m4900 cab tractor with 2800hrs i bought recently. I changed the hydraulic oil/ filters ( kubota filters, udt oil ) I turned the PTO on and noticed it wouldn't spin at idle, had to be revved up slightly to turn.
I used it this fall to spread some fertilizer and the PTO seemed to work just fine under the very light load. i hooked it up to my sprayer this week ( diaphragm pump ) and it wouldn't turn the pump as quick as it should. probably 200 rpm or less at 2200rpm engine speed.
I adjusted the linkage to the spec in shop manual. Thinking i could be dealing with a PTO clutch issue. anyone ran into an issue like this on a 4900, 5700, etc??
Thanks!
