I don’t know exactly what you want but you should be able to get whatever is currently on the tractor chrome plated unless it is severely damaged or pitted.

Search “chrome plating in my area” and you should be able to locate a local shop.

You may want to look into how hot the diesel exhaust gases can get (during regeneration?) and see if chrome plating can withstand that. It might turn colors other than silver.

Regen on a tractor made between 1998 and 2004?

@Mark Wilkes, I made my own exhaust stack for my M6060, but I suggest you measure the I.D. of the stack and buy a section of chromed exhaust pipe. There are numerous sizes and lengths available for not much in the way of cost. Amazon has lots available, just need to figure out a few dimensions. For example.

Thankyou for the reply, So I've been looking around online for the dimensions that have and haven't been able to find what I am looking for.
The inside of the existing pipe is 2 3/8" and I would like to go up to at least a 4" stack to make it look right.
do you know of a place that sells a adapter or something? Or maybe you have another thought.

Thank you for your reply, I would like to go to a larger diameter stack. So I am looking to replace it at this point.

Also if you happen to have a photo of your M6060 with the exhaust I would love to see it.

Not sure that my photos will be of much help since I wanted to solve a different problem but here are the before and after shots. The only parts of the exhaust stack that I repurposed are the tip and a couple of pieces of heat shield. The shield with HOT cut out is unchanged, but I had to cut a piece from the original heat shield for the lower half of the stack. I drilled holes for venturi effects in the base plate below the exhuast tip, and I have an integral muffler in the stack that has a similar O.D. as the the original heat shield.

Reducing the height of the exhaust stack was mainly intended to reduce the loads on the bracket that bolts to the engine block, but an additional benefit is that the stack isn't so obtrusive in terms of the view out the front. Not a big deal but a nice change.

I actually like/prefer exhaust stacks on tractors and sort of wish that the MX had one as opposed to the current set up.
