My m110gx is a crank no start. I had the dealership come hook up a laptop and it had low rail pressure 2200 psi. No other codes. They suggested the suction control valve on the side of the high pressure pump was the cause, it wasn’t. They wanted me to bring it to their shop so they could drop the tank and do tests at $150/hr. He said there is no bench test for the pump so I decided to pull the injectors and have my local shop test, they all tested perfect. I’ve pulled the rubber hose off the relief valve it’s dry. I’m guessing my only other option is put on a new pump and hope that’s my problem. I’m wanting to make sure there is nothing else to test before I buy a new pump. Any suggestions?

Test the flow from the tank and the whole rest of the fuel system before you jump at a pump!

Do you know the gpm or psi that the transfer pump should produce. I have made sure it is supplying fuel but I have not tested gpm or psi. It seems to have good flow.

There will be little pressure involved and flow should be moderate.
Do you get good flow to the high pressure pump?

Yes sir I’ve checked flow there and the dealer mechanic did as well I believe.
I went ahead and sprayed it with a small amount of ether and it made no attempt to start nor did it change the cranking sound.
I tested cam and crank sensors with pico and it appears to be in time. I also checked cranking amps with pico all are very similar which makes me think it has good compression.
i sprayed ether with filters installed I’m wondering if there is any chance it’s not getting air, I know that’s kinda a grasp.
where should I go now that ether didn’t do anything? I was hoping it would do something with ether which would say fuel problem ie low rail pressure issue but it didn’t which has me leaning away from a pump problem.

Throw the ether in the trash can and hope you didn't throw the motor in trash can too using it.
Kubota's are ultra high compression engines and a very small amount of ether can do some huge damage.
You need to have a tech that can test the compression and the pump diagnose the issue.
Throwing ether and parts at it, is a really bad idea!
