Folks... this is a dumb question but I have learned a question not asked is an invitation to an "all CRAP" moment. I have a 2000 vintage B2410 tractor with about 2300 plus hours on her. It is in excellent shape... I keep up with maintenance and repairs.

Here is the issue... sounds simple but I want to run it by the group. My mid PTO seal is beginning to drip. I already have the new seal and plan to replace the two hydraulic filters and clean the screens when I replace the seal.

Here is the question... Is the seal replacement as simple as it seems?

Thanks ya all and have a very nice Thanksgiving! And one more thing... please try to make someone less fortunate's day better also...

Yes it should be as simple as it looks, pull the old seal and replace with a new one, look for unusual wear on the shaft or slop in the shaft too much and you'll need to pull the case and replace the bearings too. ;)
