The Landpride SA20 post hole auger was a must have tool for me. Re-connecting it to the tractor was a PTA. If you connect the hoses together to keep the couplers clean, the auger can free-wheel while trying to connect it. The motor/gearbox is attached to the SSQA frame by a block of steel that can swivel right and left and also has up/down movement. The SSQA frame is a few inches shorter than the couplers on my tractor.
I built a storage stand to address all of these issues.
The bottom 4x4 rails are 72" long and all of the upper level rails are 38" long
The spacers that separate the 4x4 levels are 25", 18" and 11" in length. I used 2 pieces of 3" pvc pipe to give the auger a hard, smooth surface to rug against.
This will provide th necessary support for the auger
I went further by using pieces of scrap wood to block up the auger so it is perpendicular to the frame when I set it on the stand.
