Need help again
My L4200 low pressure oil light came on today
I changed the oil and filter just to verify that this was not the problem
Where is the oil pressure switch located and what is the correct oil pressure for this model.
If the oil pressure is actually low, what should I do first.
Thanks

Before worrying about what comes next, first find out what the actual oil pressure is using a mechanical pressure gauge. It could just be a bad oil pressure switch.

A new oil pressure switch is dirt cheap.

The oil pressure switch closes below 7 psi.

Look for a round body with a single wire coming off the end of it.

Kubota's are not known for oil pressure issues.
Look at the oil pressure switch, if it has oil on the exterior of it, it's bad.
Even without oil on the exterior, it still can be bad.

It's located just above the starter.

Check for chafe on the cable. If the copper gets in contact with any metal the light will also come one.

Do not run the engine until you check and confirm you have adequate oil pressure.
