Hey tractor nuts. I have a problem. I operate a L 3240 in cold weather blowing snow and suddenly lost power over time and eventually died. I was able to boost it to get it back home. It ran terrible. At home I added some 911 conditioner, changed the filter and bled the lines at the bleder valve, then again at the injector sites. I always have to boost this thing to start. The battery shows 12.12 v on the meter. When all this was done, it runs good at idle until put it under load for about 3-5 mins ,then it losses power again, to which I have to limp it back home again. So the problems I have are 1) looses power order load. 2) always needs to be boosted to start. Any hep is greatly appreciated. Jeff

Blowing snow has been known to clog air intakes which could account for a power loss / stalling issue.
As far as fuel... how cold is it, is the fuel winter blend, and did it get additional treatment (before the 911 was added)?
12.1v is about 50% capacity, which will result in a no crank condition in cold weather.
Charge the battery and check the voltage while running to confirm the alternator is charging the battery. At high idle it should read around 14-14.4v in cold weather (varies).

Do everything rjcorazza said. You have a fuel or air intake problem.

Also - check your battery connections - take them off and clean them, even if you dont think there is a problem, go ahead and clean them, even where they connect to the other side of the wire. There are four places that can make a poor connection and not allow you tractor to start.

I checked the air intake, all is good there, the temp here in Ontario is -20 on average, the fuel is winter fuel fron a truck stop, but was not treated before the 911. Thank Jeff
