Looking at new tractors, the one I want is hard to find (L3240).. Some of the dealers are trying to steer toward the replacement (3560). I cannot find any reviews on the new ones.. Can anyone give me input on the new 60 series??

Good luck on finding a New Grand L 40 series. I did some looking around a month or so ago and couldn’t find much. Locally I only found Larger Models like a L3540HSTC which is the cab model and found a L3940 but both were larger Grand L out of my price range. I ended up going with a L3800. It was hard to even find a Grand L semi local used for a good price. I don’t know much about the Grand 60s since they are just recently hitting the market. I do know from talking to the dealer a few times that they have the new Tier 4 emissions. And having experience with fire trucks and the new emission standards on diesel trucks I decided to stay as far away as I could from new emissions standards. You may also have a lot better responses in the correct forum section. I believe a member there has made mention of purchasing a new 60 Series but hasn’t taken delivery yet.

No L40's left here either. I have no personal experience with the L60, but some owners have shared their experiences. The only complaints seem to be the cost and awkward positioning of the hydraulic hoses especially the third function valve with some adding protective plating. Regeneration on the DPF isn't as big of an issue as feared, but only time will tell the tale.

Are you looking at open station or cab?

looking for an open station, I was thinking I could go a little smaller but decided against it I have tried smaller like the standard L hst and not at all happy after using my inlaws 3240.. looking for weight and rigidness...

I understand that, nothing wrong with the standard L, but after looking at them, I quickly gravitated to the GL and really like it.
