Loader Operation

I've got a B7100 with KMW K80 Loader.
The loader is set up to run on the tractor hydraulics, and has a 2 stick control valve (one stick for boom, one for bucket).
Is it normal to only be able to control one function at a time, or am I supposed to be able to do two functions at once (ie: boom down and curl bucket).
Thanks in advance for the input!

That would depend on which valve they used, some will do tandem operations some will not.
If you move both and it either only does one operation or none than it's not a tandem valve setup.
You can change the valve to be a newer joystick valve. ;)
