Currently trying to figure out which hydraulic line to tap into to run a round baler***8212;curl or lift line. L2850. We got the lift to work on the baler but can***8217;t get the release to work, it binds on the return, won***8217;t allow it down without jiggling the joystick.
Thanks for any help!

Must be a tiny round baler. Every round baler I've ever seen needs at least 50 pto horsepower at the minimum. My NH 450 requires 70 and 2 sets of remotes.

Not a baler, but my B2650 snow blower chute direction works off the curl circuit, and raise or lower it with the boom circuit. I usually drop the boom down to float, pushed fully forward clicks into detent, once on a level run. But the curl circuit is different, the chute won't move to the right unless the lever is pushed to the right past it's detent to get the bucket "dump" mode out of regenerative hydraulics mode which takes about half of the lever's travel to the right. Hope this helps.

Loader valves do not make good valves for remote operation.

Does the baler need temporary (valved) hydraulic power to run it or is it looking for a constant flow with it's own valves controlling it?

Wolfman... The bale dump will be hydraulic cylinders (2) that raise the tailgate and maybe one for the density control. Not withstanding he don't have adequate pto power to run a round baler except maybe for dry straw, certainly not forage.

Before I bought my first M series, I had a 5030 HSTC and I 'attempted to run a 4x4 NH round baler with it. Fine when starting a bale but as the bale grew the pto power was lacking. I could not hold 540 rpm no matter what I did. Exception was dry wheat straw.

The other problem is the tractor weight versus the machine weight with a full bale in the chamber. A normal round baler will weigh more than his tractor does and all well and good on level ground, not so good on a hill.
