...And It Speeds Up Toward The End!

They key is to enjoy life despite the knocks and tough spots we all face. A fun way of really understanding this (other than growing old yourself!) is looking back into the eyes of those generations past. This is a great link to see the humanity of those generations. Their zest for life leaps off the screen.

Enjoy!

I wonder what pictures my grandkids will find of me after all the "fluff" gets discarded, lost or left behind. I also wonder how this will change with digital storage. When photos held actual real estate, the selection process of what filtered down through generations was natural.

I'm still really "young" as I turn 40 this year but I can already feel the "quickening" effect as I watch my 1 year old son grow and explore. I know before I blink he'll be leaving for college and I'll be entering my senior years and that seems just as impossible as imagining myself being settled with a kid 20 years ago.

tiktock,

Kids are milestone's God gives us to measure the passage of time.

:)

My wife is trying to scan in as many photos as possible and upload them to the genealogical sites like Ancestry with as much description as possible. That way they will be found many generations from now.

Finally had time to take a look. All I can say is wow, well done. Your grand parents were way cool, thanks for sharing.

At my age not many left, mom died this year at 96, dad long gone. Everyone lived pretty mundane lives, nothing wrong with that though.

Yes mondain is a good thing,,the kids asked my Dad ( God rest his black hearted Irish soul) if he knew anything about the family from way back when. He said they were hookers, drunks and horse thieves and lived under the radar.
Me I think living under the radar is a good thing shooting stars burn out way to fast
