I noticed a small wet spot the other day when I got to my backhoe so I figured I'd keep looking. Worked all day with the tractor, no performance or power problems, nothing seems amiss. I noticed a lot of seepage and what looked almost like grease but there's no grease point at this location (that I know about) so I'm assuming it's hydraulic. This is under the backhoe seat. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Maybe the "grease" is just dirty hydraulic fluid?

Wished I could help. Perhaps you should wipe everything down as clean as you can and see if you can trace the source. Have you disconnected the backhoe? If so, maybe it is from spilled fluid?

I cleaned it up a bit, it seems like it's coming directly from the spool valve itself. I drew a little arrow to where the leak is dripping down from. I've never taken the backhoe off so I don't think it's from me. When I clean everything up the drip comes right back.

Wished I knew how to troubleshoot better. I'm very ignorant when it comes to hydraulics. Is it still under warranty?
