Hey all,

I recently got a B7200 HST 4x4. I do not know a terrible amount about tractors, as this is my first. I had it running this afternoon and noticed a small puddle of oil forming under the tractor. Its leaking near the right rear wheel, right side of the seat (roughly) where the 3 point hitch lever is. Any ideas why/what is leaking? I don't have any hydraulic attachments yet, put it appears the hitch lifts/lowers as it should. Since I dont use it, should I leave the hitch "floating" all the time? TIA

Your going to have to give more details on the leak, sounds like it could have a leak on the three point control.

It really won't matter what position you leave the lever in as it's probably going to leak regardless of the setting, as fluid is always moving.

Get some pictures of the leak to help us help you to narrow it down!

Clean the suspect area really really well. You should be able to see where the oil appears if it's leaking enough to make a small puddle. If you don't have enough leakage to detect the source be sure the area is really clean and quite dry. Then try a very light dusting of talcum powder. That should show your source.

Sorry, but I'm here to revive my own thread! Finally getting around to fixing my hydraulic leak. Found it coming right from the 3point lever assembly. Got it apart and I'm confused, I bought the right gasket according to the spec sheet (see photos), now I'm wondering if someone changed something, or if I'm just a dummy. Please help!

1- Reference part #090 doesn't appear to be here, it's listed as a spring... Do they mean like this (see pic)

2- There are gaskets on the shaft control levers already, and they appear to be in good shape. The gaskets I purchased are much larger. Are they intended to go on like I have them arranged below in the picture? There appears to be no part # for the O-rings on shaft control levers.

Thanks!!!

I'm thinking I got the wrong gaskets.. ordering new ones along with the "spring" I'm missing. No idea what it really looks like as the only website that stocks the part has no image. Will post end results when I get the parts in the next week or two.
