Due to my schedule and the waiting for the yard to be dry enough to cut the grass (a ~9xxx lb tractor tears up a wet yard in a hurry), my grass is usually fairly long before I get a chance to cut it. I use a side discharge finish mower and wind up with LARGE clumps/piles of clippings that I would like to get picked up. I am confident that a pine straw rake would handle the job, but I really wouldn't use it for anything else. My question is, would a landscape rake be able to effectively do the same job? I could get so much more use out of the LS rake on my driveway and out on my trails. I also would rather store just the one implement instead of two. Will it handle the grass? Thanks
