I have a Kubota BX1800 with a LA211 Front Loader. While moving the mountains of snow we are currently getting in the Boston area, the bucket suddenly went limp while dumping snow (rolling bucket down). I found one of the hydraulic lines that controls the bucket up/down was leaking so I replaced it and expected it to resume normal operation afterwards. Well, it did not. Upon further inspection and a similar issue by someone on this forum, I realized that the bucket stops had also broken off both boom rails. These stops control how far down the bucket tilts when dumping (rolling bucket down). This allowed the bucket to tilt further than it is designed to which put the bucket cylinder past it's designed range and results in what I'll call LBS (Limp Bucket Syndrome). To keep the bucket operating you must lower the boom till the bucket is almost touching the ground and "wiggle" the up/down lever till the bucket/cylinder get back into their normal range of operation, then the bucket works normally again,...that is till you go beyond the normal range again, then you must repeat. Anyway, replacing the bucket stops with something a little stronger than the weak stock ones, solved the issue. If you find yourself with LBS, check your bucket stops.
