Yesterday I had a puffer light come on. I regained and the light went out but my tractor started stalling. I finally made it home and the puffer light came on again. I did a parked region and it started running fine. I parked it in the barn and left it over night. This morning it would nor start. My dealer told me to pull a plug off the cut off valve and see its it would start. Nothing. I scrolled through the screen and noticed I have engine error light P0627. My dealer is 50 miles away and I would really like to avoid taking it in if possible. It is a 2016 model I got new and I have never had any problems with it.anyone have an idea?

Open circuit SCV. MPROP. Has to do with fuel pressure pump. Something unplugged or wire broken. Is this problem secondary to your following your dealer's directions?

Did you unplug anything that looks like this?

Is engine warning light on?

Recovery from fault, key switch off.

In any case, if you don't see an obvious loose or broken wire, I wouldn't advise messing with this part of the fuel supply for a common rail. Should still be under warranty.

Thanks for all the replies, however, with cows mooing for hay I relented and loaded up the orange tractor and headed for the dealer (Randy Beshears Kubota in Oxford Alabama). He is one of the best dealers I have ever done business with. I told his maintenance manager that I had changed the filter and screen and that it was throwing code P0627. His guy came out and crawled up on the trailer and vented the fuel filter to get the air out. It still would not crank. He then took the fuel line off the screen and with his mouth blew back through the tank then put the line back on. To my amazement the tractor started and ran fine. He reset the code and suggested I use a Diesel Fuel Cleaner additive in my fuel. It was a cold windy day but he never took the tractor off the trailer. I was on my way in about 20 minutes total. Randy didn't charge me anything. Like I said he is the best dealer I have ever done business with. About 1.5 hours after I left his place the cows were really glad to see the orange tractor coming their way with hay on the fork.
