Seems noone can get or has the kubota speced front non loader weight bracket for my l4701. Is the bolt pattern to mount the bracket to the frame the same on other models? I am looking to pick up a bracket that is available and modify as needed. Thanks

Maybe I’m confused as I’ll freely admit I don’t have front weights for mine, but isn’t the front bumper the weight bracket? I’ve been told that’s what the holes in the lower grille guard/bumper are for back up under the grille: hang the weights on the bar in front and those holes are used somehow to secure the weight. Don’t see anything in the manual to suggest there’s a “loader” bumper and a “non-loader” bumper.

If it didn’t come with a bumper, if you can get the part number for the bumper you should be able to cross reference what all models that part fits. The parts diagram at Messick’s online should get you the part number.

Edit: And if you can’t find the part number at Messick’s, reply here and I’ll see if mine has a part number stamped on it somewhere.

This bracket is shown on the 2WD parts, but not the 4WD models

I think they may come on the tractor and be taken off to add brush guard bumpers by the dealer. The bumper alone may clear a loader, but the weights stick out another 8" or so.
K must make different size ones, this one holds 7 weights. I picked up a couple (takeoffs?) at my dealer that held 5.

I believe that what Kubota is calling a bumper, we call a grille guard. The holes in the rear are for the bolts that hold the weights onto the tractor. See if you can borrow a Kubota 55# weight and give it a try. You will need the special bolts that hold the weight onto the tractor, and the dealer should have them. If you get lucky, you might even find some used weights. I bought 9 of them for $450 a few years ago. I don't know what Kubota charges for weights now.
