I am looking for a tool to go on the end of the crankshaft on my L4600. It is a splined shaft in front of crankshaft. It has splines on it. I have split the tractor to replace seals on the output shaft for 4X4 and need to turn the crankshaft to be certain the rear section of tractor is lining up with crank and clutch. Any help would be appreciated. I feel someone must make one.

or get real fancy and use leather with vice-grips perpendicular to the splines - it doesn't turn very hard.

Adjust the fan belt to "tight". Then use the fan to turn the engine back and forth-it only takes maybe 1/8 of a turn to get the splines to line up.
