Hello OTT folks.
I have been searching for helpful videos or step to removing a 4560 BH from an L3710 tractor. basically, how much time is involved with removing and re-installing the back hoe. step by step how to help.

Brief back story. My father recently passed (very unexpectedly). His pride and joy was his L3710. we talked briefly of me taking it over in time. We were suppose to meet up this spring to go over all the nuts and bolts of the setup. Unfortunately, I never got to have that discussion/demonstration. So before I travel a long ways away to pick up the tractor, I want to understand the equipment I am getting. this will be my first time owning a BH. And I honestly don't see myself using the BH more than once or twice a year. I do way more back blading and grading with the 3 point hitch.

sorry for the long explanation. but i wanted to add a little back story to help understand my ask.

thank you in advance for your help.

I’ve not had much looking for videos…this is what I found for BH92…I am not really sure which BH you have. There seem to be more videos regarding BH77 though. If these don’t work you can always leave the BH on and the Buy another tractor. Tractors are like calibers / golf clubs or whatever you are into. Always good to have a pair and a spare. 😉. I hope I helped. 🥃

I’ve only done it myself a few times. I think reasonable you should be able to do in 15 minutes. I spent more time figuring out which link arm is L vs R and getting the little bolt/bracket taken care of. In my opinion what the video doesn’t show is that I would recommend number 1 store on a flat surface if possible and 2 when you park it, I’d put some blocks under it. Hydraulics sag. I am not really sure how your tractor is set up or which model you have but once u you do it the process should speed up each time. I suspect someone who does regularly could Do it in not much more time than the loader, I am not there yet though. The link arms are just awkward to hold and that’s most of the skill in my opinion. You could always take to your dealer and ask their tech to show you for a case of beer. Take your phone and record it. 🥃

rc51stieroff, thank you for the video links. i hope the 4560 is similar in mounting and de-mounting. and i agree, i would love to have many tractors. i currently have a B9200. but that one will be sold off and i will carry on with my dad's tractor.

great advice about blocks and flat ground too. i will be video and photo documenting everything when i do this work.

thanks for the private messages and public forum posts. i love being part of such a great group of supporters.
