I just acquired a 1987 L4350DT and the pto will not shut off when it’s in the position between the 540 rpm and the 750 rpm position. I didn’t see any adjustments on the linkage! Anyone know what I can do to get this figured out?

It's very possible that your range and engagement are separate levers, I haven't looked at that possibility. ;)
It's also very possible that is just free spinning, my L3450 does that, as soon as you put any load on it it stops, it's just the fluid passing the gears that lets it spin.
