Hello all.

Me and my father brought a L4310 tractor and drag box a while back. Tractor runs like a top but has absolutely no steering what so ever. When we got it home and got it up and running the steering would work very little then after about an hour it completely stopped working.Even with the engine off it doesn't have any steering.
New to kobota tractors and would like to get her up and running for some yard work this summer. Searched this form and the Internet and can't really find anything perticler on this problem. Any help in the right direction would be really appreciated!! Thanks

According to the internet your tractor has hydrostatic steering so you will need to start looking into hydraulic pressures and flows to make sure the pump is working correctly.

Look at Kubotabooks dot com for a workshop manual that will provide troubleshooting steps for the system or other knowledgeable members may be able to help.

Good luck

There are three parts that could have an issue, lack of hydraulic flow or pressure, lack or steering controller control, or blow seal in the steering cylinder.

First check hydraulic level.
Jack up the front end to get the wheels off the ground.
Run the tractor and check for any steering movement while turning the steering wheel.
Then if no movement try manually turning the wheels side to side.
