L4240 Trailer Lights

New member although I have been stalking forums as a guest for years now. Looking for some advice on how to wire up trailer lights. Mainly turn signal and 4 ways possibly brake lights for a 18 ft pj landscape trailer. Has a standard 7 flat pin rv connector. Haul trailers up and down the road constantly on a 1942 Farmall H if i am succesful with the kubota light hook up i may be riggin something up for the ole H.

Brake lights will be a challenge, but the tractor should be equipped with some sort of warning lights, would be a matter of tapping into those circuits and adding a ground.

I am hoping that i can mount a 7 way plug on the rear of the tractor that i could plug the trailer in to and i could operate the lights using the four way switch and the turn signals

Just tie the plug into the wiring, it's not that difficult as all the wiring should be fairly accessible.
One change you might need to make is to change out the flasher units to HD units.
