I've searched, but come up empty. What's the mechanical difference between the L4060HST and the L4060HST-LE?
There's a couple thousand dollar price diff, but what's the material diff?

This might answer some of your questions - if you have not already seen it.

Based on the brochure and video…Seems like an awesome tractor. Not quite a GL and not quite an MX. You get an extra sticker for less GL (but can still say you have GL) and a little less money….or you get an extra sticker and less tractor than an MX (but still get to say you have GL) Depends on your perspective. It’s still an awesome tractor.

ROPS?

The only mechanical differences are the lack of some features, such as cruise, extendable 3pt links, etc. They’re the same tractor and can be make “non LE” with very few parts.

Well, 4060HSTC-LE comes with the extendable links. 3560HSTC-LE apparently does not.

Anyway, you can just add the rest of the stuff back if you want. I added back:

- right hand step
- right hand grab handle
- cruise
- side mirrors

Probly took about an hour.

I would not want to use the links the don't extend. If you're not planning on using a quick-hitch for every implement every time I would invest in those. I almost always get on & of on the left but my fuel fill is on the right, just ahead of the dashboard so that step and grab handle probably get used.

I thought cruise control sounded ridiculous, but its very useful (mowing, spraying, roading). This is my first HST, so cruise just gives me back what I had with the earlier tractors (tell it to go, it goes until you tell it to stop)
