I've got a new-to-me 2008 L3940HST; has less than 1000 hours on it and seems to be in great shape.
A friend told me about a "split-the-tractor" issue to watch out for with this Grand L series that has to do with a propeller shaft seal kit for the front drive train. He mentioned an service bulletin from kubota - AG001-98 - but this seems old to me (I think the "98" there means "1998").
Is this a legitimate issue to worry about, or is this just a horror story about something rather rare? I was finding it difficult to search on this issue myself, as I'm new to the kubota world.
Any information/advice most welcome!
