I just purchase the rear remote kit for my L3901HST. My dealer gave me a few boxes of my order with a ton of parts that look like and state that they fit the L4400, 4600,4701 but nothing on the L3901. The piped manifold included in the kit looks like it will mate up to the transmission as it is the same shape but the instructions are terrible. Maybe when the last box comes in it will have correct lever plate and the info I need with better instructions. Does anyone have any info on this kit working on the 3901?

The kit numbers and contents have changed over time. The terrible instructions have not. AFAIK and from the pictures I have seen the kit for the L4701 is a different animal. It has a different connection to the side of the tractor and will not work on the other L01's. Here is a picture posted in another OTT thread. It is apparently the current flavor of the day for the L3901. The parts diagram is the L4701 version.

Lever kits:
- L7211B - first position, includes valve manifolds, first position lever, new lever guide plate, hoses, and one set of couplers with ROPS mounting bracket
- L7212A - second position, includes second position lever, hoses, and second set of couplers
- L7213A - third position, includes third position lever, hoses, and third set of couplers
- L7231A - 4 way, 3 position, spring center
- L7232A - 4 way, 4 position, float detent
- L7233A - 4 way, 3 position, self canceling detent
- L7234A - 4 way, 3 position, detent

Thanks! Yep it is the wrong one. I have been looking at it and there is no way that it will fit. I am in the process of contacting my dealer so they can rectify the situation. Ill be checking part numbers when I go back in.
