I upgraded my L3830 factory headlights, tail lights, and flashers with LED's. I really like the update, especially the headlights. They are 1,000 lumens each and a huge improvement over the incans. The P15D headlight bulb was replaced with one from Formula J87. I went with Sylvania 1156 and 1157's for the tail lights and deck and rear flashers. I also added a 900 Lumen worklight from tractor supply. I don't do alot of work at night, but I'm better prepared now.

Here is a link to a youtube video I posted a few days ago comparing the incandescents to the LED's...

I have a L4060 HSTC. What Led bulb would I replace the front work lights with? The ones at the top of the cab?

From what I've read about LED lights, you should use the same color LED light for the same color lens (e.g. amber LED for amber lens, red LED for red lens, white LED for clear lens).

I had originally thought about using colored leds, but the bulbs were clear when I removed the lenses...so I opted for white leds. They work great and plenty bright...so no worries if you are trying to decide which led to go with.

I wasn't meaning color. I meant does anyone know what the number is on the bulb to change them out from incandescent to led. I'd like some really bright ones instead of the yellow

If they are the push-in and twist type....look at the bottom...single pin should be a 1156...these were in my flashers. Double pin should be 1157...these were in my tail lights/brake lights. Advance, Auto Zone, O'Reilly has these in LED...see my video.
