L3830 engine swap

Hey all, I'm looking at buying a used L3830 that needs an engine (current one threw a rod). I got the engine plaque from the guy, it has an D1803-M-ES engine. I found a reasonably priced D1803 on the fleabay, engine model D1803-M-ET07. Do you think this would fit, especially if I have the old engine that I can swap parts onto as needed?

Yep it should work like a charm as both engines have the same RPM rating, most of the time the last digits are bolt on options like exhaust style and intake style.
