Hi everyone, I'm looking at a Kabota L 3750 that is for sell for 5500. Hours show to be at 485 going to be driving it around again tomorrow so I will be keeping an eye on the meter to make sure it is still counting hours. Runs smooth, Shifts good, Doesn't smoke clear exhaust after start up. There are some concerns.
I was wanting to know if someone could help me out with a leak before I make the purchase, or do you think it would be best to run away?
The PTO is leaking, and there is a leak on the right side of the engine compartment. I can't tell where is it leaking from exactly. It was a not a real fast leak, but enough to put a few drops on the drive way, we were only on the driveway for about 15 minutes.

NO-084555
I was trying to find part numbers for the PTO Seal and possible bearing replacement.

For the engine compartment leak I'd clean it up well - probably with a spray cleaner, dry it, and try to pinpoint the leak. It may be something as simple as tightening a bolt or fitting. Of course it could also be seeping at a crack in the casting somewhere.

Get it power wash it and start looking for the origin of the leak.

% of leaks are as follows:
49% are fittings
49% are seals
1% are cracked parts
1% are a complete mystery

Yea yea yea the numbers are made up... you get the point. :p
