L3650 Tach

My tach is toast. New ones are $303. Any body got a used one or where can I get one at a resonable price?

Is it the tach itself, or the drive gear? My drive gear lasted about 8oo hours, on the L185. I've seen several threads here about short lived tach drives.

Is the tach totally dead or is it acting up in some way?

If it is wildly fluctuating then it is probably a ground. Happened to me.
