Just bought an L3600 and am struggling to find the door hinge springs (ones that prevent the door from over stretching the gas strut and pulling it to bits). Does anyone know where in the universe i can buy them, or how to source the equivilent in the UK from a spring manufacturer (i think they are called double torsion springs)??

You need to put up a picture of what you're needing, as I think it might be a UK only part, that wasn't used on the US cabs.

Yea the US cabs didn't have those springs (blue).
Does yours have the dampener on top (yellow)?

I tried to search for parts on your side of the pond and didn't get very far. Some sites claim to have parts but show mostly fluids and filters. I'd be lost without sites like Messicks with diagrams and loads of info.

Thanks for sharing the parts diagram sir, that will come in handy. It didn't have the gas strut when it came, I added one, but the door over stretches it if you let it swing back when parked facing uphill, it then bends the strut knuckle out. Think I've come up with a solution though with some domestic window cable stays. Man, part for this are hard to find!
