Hi All,
I am new to the Kubota world, having just picked up an equipment lot from government surplus, consisting of an L3540HSTC, an L3430HSTC, three ZD326's, and a few miscellaneous attachments. The tractors were primarily used for plowing snow, and have subframe mounted plows. The L3540 also has a loader frame that was never installed. From what I am told, they dropped the loader when unloading it off the truck, and it is bent. Neither tractor is fully functional, with the 3540 seemingly needing a head gasket, and it will only move in reverse. I have the WSMs for all the equipment, which have been very helpful in getting me to where I am now in my troubleshooting.
In the service module mode K, I can get through step 1, at which point "step 2" is displayed on the screen, but it is a dead end. The wsm states that it should display "push-sw" but it stays locked on step 2. If I change any of the conditions specified in step 1, the screen will display "step 1." It recognizes my pedal input (full forward) which leads me to believe that the pedal sensor is working.
In service module mode A, my pedal sensor voltages are good, my swash plate sensor voltages for reverse and neutral are good, but forward doesn't change from neutral.
That being said, I am thinking that the problem lies in my forward proportional valve. Does anyone have experience with these symptoms and had the problem be something else? Any ideas on further troubleshooting? I would be thrilled to have this tractor up and running before snow starts falling.
Thank you very much,
Matt
