Hello I am new to this forum, I have joined because I recently acquired an L3450 4x4. It needs some tlc but appears to have some good solid bones. The first issue I want to fix is the steering shaft. If I pull up on the steering wheel the wheel and the shaft will come all the way out. The only thing keeping it in is plastic shield. I want to replace what ever is the problem but I can’t seem to find any diagrams or schematics on the steering shaft. It looks like the shaft goes directly into a hydraulic assembly of some kind. Any help or guidance on what is possibly wrong and how I can go about fixing this issue is greatly appreciated. I am mechanically inclined so I would like to fix this problem myself if possible. Thank you.

You can go straight to kubota to get diagrams and part numbers.

Good news is it's probably just had the cir-clip come off.
Bad news is in order to fix it you've got to remove the column and pull the parts all the way out the bottom, assemble it correctly and reinstall the column.
