This statement is in my manual for my L3410 4wd GST:

"The oil used to lubricate the transmission is also used as hydraulic fluid. To ensure proper operation of the hydraulic system and complete lubrication of the transmission, it is important that a multigrade transmission fluid be used in the system. We recommend the use of Kubota Super UDT fluid for optimum protection and performance."

As I understand this then, universal 80W90 gear oil can be used in "both holes," i.e., the rear fill hole at the back of the tractor, as well as the front axle, and hydraulics. Am I wrong?

Yes 100% wrong!
DO NOT use any 80W90 on that tractor.
SUDT ONLY

And just to be clear the 2 rear holes feed the same place (only fill one), and that is the Hydraulics and the Transmision.

The transmission/hydraulics use common fluid - SUDT.
The front axle is separate from the transmission/hydraulics system.
They do not share fluids.

My BX was sold with SUDT2 in the front axle so that's what I use.

The WSM for your tractor shows you can use SAE 80, 90 gear oil for the front axle only.
If you use SAE 80, 90 gear oil anywhere else in the tractor you will have a very bad day.
