Hello all, I could use some help here. I did not push the clutch in while enaging my PTO drive and now I believe I stripped the engagement gear. So I'm seeking information before I go out and purchase a factory service manual. With no load on the PTO shaft, it will engage even though I hear a rattling noise when I using engagement lever. If I attempt to attach the PTO to a bush hog or any other employment then engage the PTO, you can hear the rattling and grinding of gears. It will not work with a load on it.
This is my first step in figuring out what I've busted and how to fix it.
Thanks,
Aaron

PTO gears are all inside, midway back. It will likely need to be split behind the clutch housing. You can get an idea of what's where looking at the parts diagrams. Won't know which parts are needed until its apart. WSM helps.
