Tractor has 700 hrs and was recently serviced and repaired (fixed PTO) at the dealership. I had used it for 1-2 hours before I noticed the leak. There's a substantial amount of oil. The oil leak is below the seat and appears to be leaking from a casing? (see pictures attached). Most of the leaking comes directly after it's been used - ie leaking stops after tractor cools down.

I've done a quick once over underneath the tractor and did not see any loose parts, etc, however I'm a relative novice. Does anyone have any idea if this is an easy fix or something that needs to be sent back to the dealer? I'm trying to avoid sending back to the dealer as I use the tractor on my vegetable farm and am needing it to plant in the next week. Additionally, can I continue to use the tractor so long as I maintain oil levels?

Thanks ya'll!

As a pessimist, I see a repeat visit $$ to the dealer in your near future.

I would call your mechanic ASAP tell him/her your situation and how bad the leak is and let them make the determination of how to handle it, just by your pictures appears to be significant leak and where somebody has been wrenching on that nut. Hope it's a quick easy fix.
