I have a L3400 (not sure the year, says L3400D 81018 on the frame sticker) with a 8 speed trans. The issue with it is when you go into low low 1st, low low 2nd and low high 1st, it'll get stuck in gear when you depress the clutch some times, like when you're going in one of those gears and you depress the clutch, for like 3 to 10 seconds (sometimes won't come out at all and you have to turn the tractor off then on to fix it, but that maybe happens like once or twice a month) it just keeps going like your not depressing the clutch at all. When you hit the gas, i'll stop and come out of gear (most of the time) It will do it more in the winter then summer and will do it more when you first start it then running it for a while, but mostly will happen at random. If your in low 3rd/4th or high 2ed/3rd/4th won't do it, only in low low 1st/2ed and high low 1st. We got this tractor from a small business that had kept up with all maintenance records. When i got it, it was do for oil and hydro fluid change, 100 hours later, did it again. oil pump hose was replaced and the relay thing i've been told about was also replaced. about 7 months in, i noticed this started happening slowly more and more, checked everything and all seemed to be ok, A year later after getting ripped off by our local tractor place and no help from Kubota, i soldiered on with it. Well about 3 months ago, i changed the oil and hydro fluid again and it got much better (still does it) but not as much, i double checked that the fluid level was good and now to. So with this, i thought i'd try again to see if there is anything new on this or if anyone has had this happen too.

Thanks for any help.

Sounds like a clutch issue as the transmission will not cause it to keep moving.
