I have a hydraulic oil leak on my L3400 that I tracked to a cracked hydraulic pump inlet hose.

This part:

It seems fairly straightforward to switch out as it is only held up by clamps and easily accessible.

However, how much hydraulic oil will I lose? What's the best way to minimize hydraulic oil loss? Can I park the tractor uphill/downhill a bit? Or with the ride side up? Would that help?

Setting on level ground, you will loose a cup or less of hydraulic oil.

TC220-33332 I think. The original part number is NLA, superceded to TC402-33332 (I think that's the right number--going off of memory). It is a different material that isn't as likely to crack. There was a bulletin at one point.
