I have an L3250 w/ fel & hoe. Won't start or turn over. Starter tests good and keyswitch tests good. I believe it's a bad safety switch. Pulled lower dash and trany cover tinwork but can't find the safety switches. Any ideas on switch location? I know there is probably a seat switch further back but shouldn't there be a clutch switch?

Thanks. I'll look again. I looked all over the clutch linkage and didn't see it. But I'm getting old and senile!! Glad to hear that is the only switch.

You also have a safety switches on the high/low range lever, rear pto lever, mid pto lever (if equipped), and the clutch pedal.

Mine is on the opposite side of the (L185) tractor than the clutch pedal.

You may be able to locate it on an illustrated parts list and then on the tractor

Are you certain when you say this....... look on Messicks for this particular tractor, after selecting the model, then enter the word "switch".

Apart from the ignition switch, only one comes up.

Switch

But perhaps you know this particular model very well..............

I can't believe I didn't see the clutch switch before. Removed tinwork around switch. Unplugged wires and had power to switch. Switch tested good. Found wire had a bad spot between switch and solenoid. Replaced wire. Works good. Thanks for all the help!
