I' am having problems disengaging the PTO on a L3200H. When I move the leveler to the off position the PTO won't disengage. Can anyone help with an idea or solution of the cause? Thank's

I would start at the PTO lever, follow the cable and at the other end find the lever. The cable is pinned at each end to the respective levers. Check to see if the cable is actually moving the lever when the hand PTO lever is moved.

I have a new L3901 HST and when disengaging The PTO I have to idle the engine down, and depress the clutch before the PTO will disengage.

My L3200 doesn't have an issue with PTO disengagement. Did it a ton, but you do need to push in the clutch to make it happen. It won't do it with the clutch engaged.

Assuming you did that, yes, check the linkage. Also, keep all that linkage clean and lubricated.

I know this is going to sound odd to a lot of you, but wash your tractor regularly and lubricate everything after the wash. You will reduce wear and tear on everything, your paint will last and protect longer, and moving parts will wear less and work with greater ease.
